This is my brother John. He currently is being hospitalized after being hit by a truck while driving home from work on the I-5. The truck pulled out of the carpool lane illegally, striking my brother on his motorcycle. By the grace of God he is alive but he suffered a broken leg (open tibial fracture), broken hand, and a shoulder injury. He is stable and currently recovering from surgery that was required for his leg. For those who know John, he is an amazing person, son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, and friend. He is incredibly kind, hilarious, witty, and is the most caring and thoughtful man I've ever met. I am a nurse and words cannot explain how helpless you feel on the other side of the hospital bed watching your loved one in pain and knowing you can't do much for them. This is why I decided to launch this GoFund Me against his wishes because it is something I can do for my little brother to help ease the financial burden this incident may cause and to give him one less thing to worry about .
