Hello, I am Lynn Grimes.  Many know me as Pastor Lynn.  I am raising money to help feed expat Christians from my church family in Kuwait.  There are many Filipino's living & working in Kuwait who are supporting loved one's back home.  They are dedicated & sacrifice daily for their families at home, in Kuwait, and abroad.  Many are often taken advantage of and not always paid wages as promised by their employers.  With tremendous faith they work as unto God, and are still faithful to their employers.  During this Corona Virus crisis, many are left needing money to feed their families, loved ones, and themselves.  Many are experiencing difficult living conditions and many have not been paid their salary for months.  Yet, somehow they continue to give what little they have to others.  I have already received some unsolicited funds prior to this request.  The previous generous giving of others has afforded 10+ families the needed funds for food and rent.  There are many more who need this same help.  More are needing assistance as additional pending lockdowns in Kuwait will add additional hardship to have food delivered to their homes.  We have been able to help our fellow “Hopers” from our church family.  Our “Hopers” are identifying friends and neighbors who need help as well. What a ministry opportunity to reach to others with food and their knowing that Christians are thinking of them during their time of need.  The initial $3000 goal would help feed at least 10 families a week for the next six weeks.  By that time, we hope and pray that there will be a dramatic change with Covid-19 and those living in Kuwait could begin to work again... If it takes longer, then continued generous gifts from around the world would make a difference for many.  Should your gifts surpass the initial goal, we intend to help needy “Hoper” families in the Philippines as well.  Our parent church - “Hope For The World, Church & Missions” - is lead by Pastor Noel, or as we call him – Pastor Noli, in Los Angeles, California.  Our church in Kuwait is lead by Pastor Keith.  We have sister churches throughout the Philippines and abroad.  Any amount you can give will be greatly appreciated by those in need and me personally.  I know the Corona Virus has affected many.  Please take care of your families first.  If you are able and the Holy Spirit tugs on your heart, be obedient and give.  We all are in need from time to time.  I know first hand how God can multiply any gift to bless a need.  Let God take what you have and multiply it.  For yourself, and for others.  “If you have much, give of your wealth; if you have little, give of your heart.”  May God bless and keep you safe.  This day… and the next.
