Hi Everyone!

First of all, I'd like to say I never, ever thought I

would be needing or doing a "Go Fund Me".

Never !

But, as most of you are aware, Dennis lost his leg in 2012. That was our first, huge financial hit with

surgery, prosthetics, rehab, different kinds of

wheelchairs, canes, walkers, etc. But he

continued to work after 6 weeks.

Then, in 2016, he had his first inoperable Lung

cancer. Stage 3A.

In 2020, came the second cancer. Base Tongue,

tonsil, and neck lymph nodes.

He made it through both of those.

Then Covid hit. Neither of us were working.

Last November, his third cancer materialized. His other Lung.

Then his 4th (Prostate) cancer began this last

January.

~He was fine in February. We thought. ~

Now, once again, he's fighting a 5th, large Soft

Tissue Adenocarcinoma on his back. Currently,

doing radiation (total of 113 for all 5 cancers) and Chemo is next. This is the hardest cancer, yet.

Dennis is completely wheelchair bound. He's lost 18 lbs. And he needs 24 hr care for the most part. This has been six years, continually, that Dennis

has been fighting and fighting this terrible

disease.

What people don't realize, even on Medicare,

you have co-pays, etc. Also, you have to pay

Upfront for every procedure and office visit. They don't bill you! We had to use Credit Cards.

Dennis hasn't worked in 6 years. I've been

working as much as I can but got laid off in

November and couldn't work. I had Carpal

Tunnel surgery in Jan and Gall Bladder removal in March. And now I need heart ablation or a

Pacemaker. Sigh. I'm on hold for that.

Our savings is long gone. As I have said, we have been using Credit Cards for all his medical needs to the tune of over 30k we now owe.

We can't even make our monthly bills, any longer. Friends and family have paid my last 2 monthly

rents. We only have SS.

You all know me. This is so embarrassing but we

don't have a choice any longer. I was going to

have someone else do this but I thought.. may as well cut the middle man out. We need help for a

few months until Dennis is better and I can try

to work again.
