Hi! My name is Chris York. I am 32 years old and I just had my first child in July of this year. My daughter's name is Harper and she is the main motivation behind this endevor.
I was born and raised in Bath, Maine and have lived in Charleston for the last 7 years. I have worked in the food and beverage industry for many years and have done everything from washing dishes to running a restaraunt as a general manager.
Although I have had the dream of owning my own company for some time, I didn't think I would have the chance to make this dream a reality. Through the generosity of a friend, my family and I purchased a used food truck and now we just need to rebuild and renovate it.
Growing up in coastal Maine, some of my best memories are of stopping at road-side food stands and eating fresh delicious lobster rolls. Now I want to bring that experience down south and sell lobster and other New England-inspired dishes.
I am dedicated and hard-working in all aspects of my life and I believe that this will translate into an incredibly profitable business. Most of all, I am looking to create the best life that I can for my new family. When I bought this truck, my main vision of the future was coaching Harper in sports and spending time with my family that I would not otherwise get in a typical food and beverage career.
If you have taken the time to read my story, I want to say thank you and I hope that one day you are able to stop by and try one of our lobster rolls yourself!!
