Long story short, it’s time for the next chapter in the Jung and Z pulling their lives together saga. We’re trying to secure permanent, safe, accessible housing and are humbly asking again for support. We’ve found a few places that meet the criteria we need (mainly able to accommodate Jung’s decline in mobility) and are working hard to scrape together the funds for application fees, security deposits, etc. in time. It should run about $2300 total for us to lock down a place. Both of us are working full time, but it’s still a pretty large sum to save for in a short amount of time. So again, we humbly ask for a bit of a lift up to the next rung in the socioeconomic ladder, out of housing instability and into security.
Specifically to aid in Jung's ability to move and operate, we're also in need of a wheelchair. If we cannot find one for resale or to borrow, it will have to be bought directly. A cane is no longer helpful in aiding movement and is causing massive joint pain.
And also like last time, if you donate and reach out, you’ll get something neat. Since both of us are now local to PDX – send one of us a donation receipt and we’d love to make you something (a t-shirt, canvas, painted rock/brick, little sculpture, etc)!
Thank you for listening- it's been rough and it's still not easy yet, and again, we're humbly asking for help to get us into a place of our own that's more permanent.
