Help for John

Our family has endured the heartbreak of losing my Mom so unexpectedly on October 9th. Edythe Schmidt was the most giving, selfless person anyone could know. "Aunt Edie" as most knew her, had a huge heart. She greeted everyone with a hug and a smile and was known to hold spaghetti dinner benefits and bid and buys to raise money to help anyone she knew was struggling or in need or simply made them the most amazing care package. Most of all, she always put her family before herself at all times. My Mom and Dad were the picture of true devoted love and were truly best friends. They were married for 51 years. They lived a very simple life and just got by yet would be the first to give the shirt off their back for anyone in need. Their home holds 52 years of blissful memories of my parents amazing love affair and my sister and my entire childhood. My parents opened this home happily to all of my life and it was a second home to so many of my friends. My Dad has been left heartbroken and struggling more than ever financially. He could really use help to buy him time to grieve and except this tragidy before making any long term decisions about our family home. My mom gave all she had to give. It is my hope that our friends and family might take this opportunity to give back.
