Study Abroad Trip To Ghana

Hello everyone, I hope all is well! I made this GoFundMe because I am Studying Abroad in Accra,Ghana this May and I really need and would appreciate the extra help. As you all know, but if you didn’t, I’m in my second semester of my Junior year as a Social Work major at Elizabeth City State University (Home of the Mighty Vikings).

This trip is very important to me because this is not just a vacation, this is a opportunity to practice the skills I’ve learned and also a opportunity to study what I love the most in a different country that is completely different from what I know. I’ve been maintaining myself emotionally, mentally and financially since I’ve been here on my own. Also, I got my first apartment August of 2022 on my own and have been financially supporting myself by myself since.

I will attach the PowerPoint they have provided that shows more details about the trip. The total cost they estimated is JUST for the flight, hotel and meal plan. The price DOES NOT include cost for all the things needed in preparation for the trip and fees/cost when I actually get there. I’m extremely excited for this new journey I am about to take. I have big things ahead of me and this is just the beginning. Please donate what you can, anything helps.
