Several months ago we were given unexpected news, Jason became very ill and through months of hospital stays, many doctors visits and meds, etc. he is in need of a Liver Transplant. Due to his illness and medications he has not been able to work during this time and has had no income coming in. Long Term disability has just started but unfortunately still does not cover all of our monthly bills, doctor visits, meds, copays and out of pocket cost for the transplant itself. Even though Lisa is working she has had to take off at times and it has taken her away from her job. After surgery he will need 24/7 care for at least six weeks, he will be in the hospital for a week or more, which keeps Lisa from working as much as she needs to. We are planning for that time financially along with the everyday to day expenses such as gas to and from Dallas Baylor and repeated overnight stays.
We are asking for help to raise money to offset some of those additional expenses. It is hard reaching out and asking for help but sometimes life sends you a curve ball and we can not let pride get in the way. God has answered many of our prayers and will continue to do so. Anything monetarily small or large helps use reach our goal. We are also looking for a Living Donor as well,(55years old or younger with 0+ blood type) the liver is our one organ that will regenerate itself. Please feel free to reach out to us at anytime. We are tired and still have a long road a head of us. But we are positive and believe God will heal!!!
And as always Prayer, God is good. Thank you to everyone and please feel free to share
