Help Rosy Beat Cancer
Donation protected
A few weeks ago, my mother, Rosy Papiol-Perez (but you probably just know her as "Rosy"), woke up and was experiencing severe abdominal pain. After meeting with her primary doctor, she was rushed to the emergency room to address a gallbladder obstruction which resulted in the placement of a gallbladder stent. Unfortunately, this was only the beginning of her hospital stay...
Sadly, the doctors found a tumor on her pancreas and a legion on her liver. After multiple scans and a surgical endoscopy along with several biopsies, the worst case was diagnosed. Stage 4 pancreatic cancer that has also metastasized in the liver. This illness is rare for someone as healthy and young as my mom, Rosy.
Since the moment the tumor was discovered, my mom has done everything in her power to keep her spirits high and tackle this cancer head on. Intensive chemotherapy and frequent visits to the cancer center are a part of her everyday life now. With the love of her family and friends, she feels sustained and not alone.
Whether you know her from her many years working at Pines Charter as "Mrs. Rosy", to her last 7 years at Memorial Hospital, along with her involvement in church, please consider donating to help Rosy in her difficult journey and beat this cancer.
We are grateful for your love and consideration.
