PAWS-PATAS was contacted yesterday about a young dog in Cuevas de Almanzora who was hit by a car a couple of weeks ago. Despite heavy rain and very poor conditions, she survived.

When we found her, she was in a terrible state. She has two broken legs on the same side, with bones exposed. She is very young, likely around 1 year old.

Today she will have:

• X-rays

• Blood tests

• Surgery referral in Lorca as soon as results are ready

This is urgent and will involve significant veterinary costs. Any support for Suus, whether donating or sharing, will make a real difference.
