Heyrose Golf Club 18on18 Fore Charity - Aug 30th

Hi - our names are Kathy and Nick, and we're raising much needed funds for the British Heart Foundation and the Knutsford Community First Responders Trust.

We've chosen these two fantastic organisations as our 2022 Captain's charities at Heyrose Golf Club in Cheshire.

And the reason being...

... we think it's fair to say that many people, including a good number of our own Club Members, have had first or second-hand experience of heart-related issues over the last few years.

As such, Lady Captain Kathy and I were extremely pleased to find a couple of charities that cover a breadth of support for heart-related problems, from research into how to prevent heart disease in the first place, all the way through to how to help someone who has suffered a heart attack, and how you can possibly save their life!

As part of our fundraising activity, we're embarking on an attempt to play 18 holes, on 18 different golf courses across Cheshire, in one day! (that's one hole per course, in case you were wondering). We're ably supported in the venture by our concept designer, Tony Gear - our Club Senior Match Organiser.
