Hello everyone, furry friends and kind humans alike,

My name is Bella. Last week, I was diagnosed with a heart condition and have already started medication to help keep me strong. Sadly, the vets now believe I may also have another serious heart problem called arrhythmia.

My mummy used all of her savings during my first emergency episode, and right now she cannot afford the further tests and treatment I need. The vets have told us that, with the correct medication and monitoring, I could still have around 32 happy months ahead of me. Without it, another episode could mean having to say goodbye far too soon.

To find the right treatment, I need to wear a special heart monitor vest for 24–48 hours so the vets can properly track my heart. Once they understand what’s happening, there’s hope I can enjoy life again, trips to the beach, walks in the park, and playing with my mummy and other dogs.

At the moment, my heart struggles even with short walks, and after just 5 minutes outside I become exhausted because my body can’t cope properly with the oxygen and strain on my heart.

If you can help in any way, no matter how small, it would mean the world to me and my mummy. All I want is the chance to feel happy, safe, and playful again.
