A while back I managed to herniate and fracture a disc, so now there’s disc debris loose and pushing on my sciatic nerve, causing debilitating pain. Been at home, laying around unable to do too much without a wheelchair, which means no work of course.

Surgery has finally been approved, but now I need to cover quite a deductible, which is obviously rough in this particular situation.
