Rememberance Taylor Splash Day

Hello my name is Kelly Syring, I am celebrating my son Taylor's life who would be 10 yr old 7/31/2016, he was killed by drowning 10/5/2012. He loved the water, and every year I have tried to do something that he would love to do. The first year was more family and close friends, we went to Cici's Pizza, I even made a football shaped cake. The next yr I threw a party in the backyard of a friend's house. We had whip cream fight, water balloons, a little kid pool, we had a blast. This last year I was in school so I couldn't really plan anything. I went to his favorite restaurant Applebee's, sat at the bar as Taylor and I always did, ordered mac n cheese, then went and played at the beach., it wasn't much but I had to do something. I learned something this year, it helps to throw him a party, it’s also my healing process. This public event is also to honor other lives of children that have died from any circumstance. So this year I want to throw a party at the Corpus Christi Natatorium, it will be a free public event. There will be games and water safety taught. They are letting me throw a party that will be free to the public. I need to raise money for the insurance, use of the facility, and for prizes. I am needing the money by March 1, 2016. Anything that you can give I will be very grateful. Thank you for any involvement or contribution with helping me to celebrate and honoring my son's life as well as the lives of other children.
