Heston Belles to Barcelona 2025

Hi,

We are Heston Belles, an under 16 girls football team based in Dumfries.

The girls have been offered an opportunity to play in the 2025 Barcelona Cup, a tournament that brings together girls teams from across Europe to play over the weekend of 7/8 June.

This is an amazing opportunity at a time where the girls game is growing, particularly in Dumfries. We hope that by participating and sharing our experience we can encourage more young girls to take up football and aim for the same experiences we have had.

As part of of efforts to fundraise for the trip we have roped our families in to take on a task....together we are going to cover the distance between Dumfries and Barcelona, a staggering 1284 miles !!

We plan to do this either walking, jogging, running, cycling or swimming the full distance over the month of February. We will be using indoor gym equipment to help us do this challenge together as a group.
