Hess Family Seeks Help for Gabriel's Surgery

Hello everyone! The Hess family is asking for help to raise funds to get our pup Gabriel surgery. Gabriel somehow tore his cruciate ligament on December 4, 2024. The vet told us it is the equivalent of a human getting an ACL tear. The vet quoted us $4,000 for the surgery (which I assume does not include after care). He said if we can't afford it, we could just wait to see if it gets better on its own, but we obviously don't want to leave our sweet boy in pain.

Gabriel was 6 months old when we adopted him from a Georgia animal rescue. He's currently around 9 years old and we want to give him the best last years of his life. Any little bit would help us cover his veterinary costs. In the meantime, until his surgery is scheduled, he is getting some pain medications.
