On January 14th, 2020, we said good bye to my father Heshimu Jaramogi. He had been ill since the summer of 2019, and after a misdiagnosis of diabetes in October, he was eventually diagnosed with advance stage colon cancer in December of 2019. Unfortunately, my father's diagnosis and untimely death came as a shock to us all and we were not prepared for the emotional and financial toll these events would take.
As my father only had Medicaid, he incurred a serious amount of medical bills, both in trying to diagnose him and in his chemo and hospice treatments. Further, my father passed away without a life insurance plan which has left the family to pay for all of his debts and funeral expenses out of pocket.
For this reason, we humbly ask for any help you can spare to resolve these expenses and lighten at least the financial burden of his untimely passing, and allow the family to focus on our spiritual, mental, and emotional healing.
