He's almost there!

Hello friends and family! As many of you know, our son Ethan (in cap and gown) is best friends with Max (biggest supporter of Ethan). Max has not had an easy life. He has grown up in motels and parking lots. He has had one big brother commit suicide and the other is incarcerated. Despite his heartaches and challenges Max has stayed positive and has strived for a better life. He has been commuting to work approximately 7 miles each direction via electric longboard that we provided for him from his motel room to downtown Denver. His mother lives with him but struggles to provide assistance. Max is daunted with the task of keeping a roof over both of their heads. Recently, while out on a date, Max fell while roller skating. He broke his wrist and will need surgery next week. Since the accident, he has been unable to work and will need at least 3 months post surgery to return to his normal position. He will , if the employer allows, be able to do minimal hours of lite duty work. This will not be enough to keep them in their motel. We have supported him continuously but are asking for help to keep this young man's head above water. He is planning on enlisting in the Army and has taken steps to do so but this is a set back. Max needs our help to get to this next step of independence. We've watched him grow up and turn into the fine young man he is. If you can help we and he will greatly appreciate it! Every dollar counts!
