Hershman's Medical Expense Fund

I met Darlene Hershman shortly after I joined the Army.  She has been both a friend and mentor to me and to many other soldiers.  She is always there to help someone in need.  She is always the first to give of her time and herself to help someone else.  Now she has fallen on hard times due to medical problems.  She recently had surgery for thyroid cancer as well as having other medical issues.  Her insurance and the VA are running her in circles and she has depleted her private saving accounts.  Due to her illnesses she is unable to work so I am trying to help her raise some money to cover bills and living expenses.
