HEROS Charity Riders’ Race at Newbury Racecourse

I'm thrilled to share that I’ll be riding in the HEROS Charity Riders’ Race at Newbury Racecourse on Thursday, 24th July 2025. I'm taking on this incredible challenge to raise vital funds for HEROS, a charity that’s truly close to my heart.

Every year, hundreds of racehorses retire from racing—some with clear paths ahead, but many without a safety net. HEROS (Homing Ex-Racehorses Organisation Scheme) steps in to give these horses a second chance. They provide care, retraining, and new homes, offering each horse the opportunity to thrive in a new role—whether that's in eventing, dressage, polo, or simply as a much-loved companion.

HEROS began in the early 1990s when owners and trainers started turning to Grace for help rehoming their retired racehorses. Thanks to her lifelong experience with horses, deep roots in racing, and an ever-growing network, HEROS has grown into a vital and trusted part of the racing community.

I’ve had the privilege of riding, competing, and caring for many ex-racehorses through HEROS. I’ve seen firsthand how transformative their work is—not just for the horses, but for the people who love them.
