My Story:
My name is Carol Anne McGuire. I am raising money for the trademark license for my new book on "Heroes of the Faith: A Look at Biblical Characters Through a Strengths Lens". In the book we take a look at 34 Biblical characters who are examples of each of the 34 StrengthsFinder themes. It can be used by church groups who are also studying how to develop the strengths of their congregations.
The book includes a sketch of each hero and how they fit the theme- always ending with Jesus as the Ultimate, a Bible study, workbook and a place for your own doodles and notes.
I am a Certified Gallup Strengths Coach. I am a teacher. And I am a worship leader. All three of these passions come together in this book.
Two years ago, as I was leading worship in our church, God spoke to me. He reminded me of how wonderfully made each person is in our congregation. Each person is given special talents that can be used for His glory. And that Jesus is the ultimate example of each of those talents.
For the next two years I spend my spare time (outside of being a wife and mother, teaching, traveling for work, and leading in my church, to research many, many Biblical characters. I looked at evidence in their lives and matched them with each of the 34 themes in StrengthsFinder. Together, with my father, and a group of like-minded coaches and strengths-enthusiasts, we brainstormed and worked together to create this book.

The Need:
The money raised will be used for the trademark license for the 34 themes from Gallup. It will also help with the first printing of the book. The trademark needs to be purchased by March 25 in time for the first printing of the book.
