Heroes in Need: Gordon & Baubi Jo's Rebuild Fund
Donation protected
Dear friends, family, and compassionate supporters,
With heavy hearts, we share the devastating news that our dear friends, Gordon and Baubi Jo have recently experienced a catastrophic house fire that has left them facing profound loss. Their home of 24 years was a total loss of everything they hold dear just 4 days after Christmas. Thankfully; everyone including their pets were able to make it out safely.
As long time residents of interior Alaska, they have a unique challenge ahead of them navigating this disaster that struck them in the middle of a frozen arctic winter. As they pick up the broken pieces and rebuild in subzero temperatures on a limited income, they need our help.
Baubi Jo owns and operates a school where she oversees students with learning difficulties, disabilities, and that come from different backgrounds. Gordon honorably served our country for 20+ years in the U.S. Army and is now a wheelchair bound, Disabled Veteran. They spend their time as active members of Combat Vets Motorcycle Association Chapter 43-2, North Pole, Alaska. Gordon, aka “G-Man”, has embodied the groups motto of “Vets Helping Vets”! Now in this time of need this Veteran and his family need our help.
As we come together to support Gordon, Baubi Jo, and their family, we kindly ask for your help in raising funds to assist with immediate and long-term expenses. These funds will be instrumental in providing temporary shelter, replacing essential belongings, and aiding in the rebuilding process.
No contribution is too small, as every dollar brings us one step closer to helping rebuild their lives. Your support, whether through a donation or by sharing this fundraiser, will make a significant impact and provide much-needed relief during their journey to recovery.
Let's rally around these heroes in our community and show them that they are not alone in this difficult time. Your compassion and generosity will make a lasting difference, helping to turn tragedy into hope and rebuilding their home into a symbol of community strength.
Thank you for your consideration!
