HERO Rescue Needs Your Help: Donate Now

For this project, I will get out of my comfort zone and see if anyone would like to participate financially.

Several years ago, St. Ritas Hospital donated enough money to enable me to buy a used ambulance to send to Haiti for HERO rescue – the only paramedic agency there. I have supported and worked on the ground with them in the past. They still use that ambulance on their front line and take excellent care of it; and everything else that they do. I’m attempting to raise $10,000 to purchase the red ambulance pictured below from Shawnee Township fire department, the agency I retired from. The US Air Force has a program to transfer it directly to Haiti without cost, if all goes as planned.

I am already halfway there with funding and I only have two weeks available to get it completed. If you’re so inclined, I would love for you to enjoy the experience of a successful project like this that could benefit thousands of people in the future.
