Support 2 Year Old Henry During Chemotherapy

Anna and Jamie, lifelong Outer Banks residents, appreciate the community’s support as their two-year-old, Henry, begins chemotherapy this month. A painfully enlarged lymph node near his thigh led to scans that revealed multiple tumors throughout his body, and biopsies confirmed that the growths are cancerous. The good news is that it is labeled a low risk cancer with an excellent cure rate. He has begun his first round of chemotherapy. Even with health insurance, medical costs and expenses associated with travel and treatment are adding up. As self-employed parents, Anna and Jamie will not be able to work while in the hospital with Henry as he undergoes multiple rounds of chemo. They also have a six-year-old daughter to support during this difficult time as a young family.

This fundraiser will help relieve medical costs to ensure that their focus can be on their children and not on the increasing financial pressure that this diagnosis brings. Many people have reached out to help and the Outer Banks community is ready to rally behind this family that means so much to so many of us.
