Hero Academy is based in Tamarindo, Costa Rica and has been transforming the lives of young boys and girls for the last year through martial arts, personal development, and keeping their bellies full…

Our mission is to create a generation of boys and girls who will not be defined by their current socio-economic situation..

Boys and girls who will not fall into the trap of drugs, alcohol, prostitution, and violent crime.

Kids who will become leaders and role models and inspire their community to break free from the perpetual cycle of poverty and crime.

In the last 2 years we have worked with over 100 kids and their families...

And now we have 70 consistent students that are working on improving multiple times a week and even preparing for their first national tournament..

We are changing the lives of all of our regular students and their families but we want to reach even more kids and families...

But the problem is...

We have run out of space to take on new students and our waiting list is growing every day..

So we have been working on finding the perfect space and finally we have found it and are on the verge of expanding our facilities 4x the size...

This is where we invite you to join us in supporting Hero Academy.

Before we move into the new space we need to do some renovations to make it safe for our kids.

We also need to purchase mats for the new space to cover the floor area so that we can accomodate more kids...

This expansion will require an investment of $5,000 into renovations and $13,000 into new mats with the rest going into miscellaneous expenses we encounter along the way.

We plan to move into the new facility by the middle of April and everyone is really excited!
