Hermila Chávez

Dear friends and family,

Our beautiful Hermila Chavez passed away on Christmas Day at 2:00 PM. Hermila Chavez Lopez lived many different lives and she meant so much to all of us. Hermila Chavez came to the United States as an undocumented citizen, she had faced a lot of trials and tribulations throughout her life yet she's always been a strong minded and strong willed individual. Because of her ambition and drive for a better life she had her beautiful family here in the United States thus creating our beautiful family, Hermila is the reason I am here today why many of us are here today without her our current circumstances would be well... questionable. During Mila's life she had shown so much love and so much care and although she had never received her citizenship, she still found ways to make a living. Because she was never a documented citizen, she was not able to receive any type of benefits including 401K benefits, tax benefits etc. All funeral costs are being paid for out of pocket and any help is appreciated and welcomed. If you are not able to help, please share anything is very appreciated. ♥

Hermila was admitted to the hospital a couple days before her passing because she had become sick due to her not making it to dialysis, she was sent a letter by dialysis stating that she would need to make transportation arrangements as the bus she was riding was terminating their route. She had not shared the news to anyone but once she began to feel sick, she went to her daughter Lidias house to relay that she was not feeling well and shared the findings if the letter. Lidia immediately had taken her to Paradise Valley Hospital. Although Hermila was responsive and showed signs of her getting better, her body & soul decided that it was her time to join her husband in heaven. Christmas day Mila passed away peacefully.
