What's The Story About?

When an over-worked black high schooler is assigned a new girl to shadow her, she tries to convince her to come to the school but in the process realizes that what they truly need is to support each other.

 

It’s a coming-of-age story about trying to make it through high school with plenty of surprises along the way. But at its core, Heritage High is about making it through the tough conversations and unfortunate normalized bigotry, finding your support system, and most importantly, helping change it for the next generation.

 

How Can You Help?

To properly bring this story to life, we need your help. Your contribution to the film would help us pay for our high school location, feed our hard-working crew over our 6-days of shooting, help us achieve our vision cinematically, and much more.
