Hereford Flood Fund

Hereford has been battered by the recent flooding, many homes and businesses have been left destroyed by this devastating event and we would like to see if we can help.

We're raising money to go towards rebuilding and recovering and we thought the best way to do this was to raise on behalf of the Herefordshire Community Foundation, they know where the money needs to go and the best way to spend it, every penny of what we raise here will be sent straight to them.


What we're doing;

We're offering free coffee as a small gesture in The Bookshop restaurant to emergency services, whose hard work over this time is incredible.

J Kirk Building, owned by the brother of AROT owners Edwin and Dorian has offered to aid in rebuilding work and will be working with the Herefordshire Community Foundation to get the help to those who need it.

We hope to use our reach to aid in this fundraising campaign and offer a little in the way of getting people's lives back on track. 






The Herefordshire Community Fund;

Sadly one of our own team's houses was taken over with floodwater and like many the destruction is massive, we thought this would be the best way that we could help, we're going to kick start the fund and use our various channels to help get the word out, but we need you too, please take a second and give this campaign a share on your social media, every penny raised can allow the HCF, here's  a little more about what they are doing;

"Our priority in the aftermath of the floods is immediate straightforward financial support for people affected. This will help with urgent needs like the cost of living in temporary accommodation or for items people need to stay in their homes e.g. dehumidifiers. This will be followed by ongoing support for those with continuing needs." - Herefordshire Community Fund 


What can you do to help?

If you can then any donation will be well received by the HCF, aside from that then sharing what we're trying to do here will help spread the word.
