****IMPORTANT UPDATE*****
It is with great regret that I am to inform everyone that Chris Cronan passed away Monday night 3/3/2025.
Hello, my name is Justin Mastroleo. I personally work with Chris Cronan and have gotten to know him very well over the years. He is a good guy with a fun sense of humor. He always has something funny to add to a conversation. He is a hard worker who 'grins and bears it' regardless of what he has been dealt with.
Unfortunately, in late 2022, he was diagnosed with colon cancer in his mid-30s. He is a father of two girls and husband to his wife, Tiffany. Since his cancer diagnosis, he has continued working, not missing time more than he needs, and continues to work day in and day out even while going through chemotherapy.
He never talks as a victim or speaks of feeling sorry for himself. He keeps his head down and continues to try and provide for his family no matter how ill he feels. His dedication to continually pushing onward is nothing short of amazing to me.
That is why I felt the need to start him and his family a GoFundMe. He is at a major inflection point in his cancer journey, and due to this and his declining health, he has been forced to take short-term disability. I know he tried his hardest not to have to do this as he is the financial force in his family.
I know his family is hurting, and if I had the means, I would give him more than I can. Bad things happen to good people, and I feel the need to start this to try and help his family out financially as much as possible. Even if I cannot raise the $30,000, I want him to know that people do care about him and his family and that this is not the end of his journey. This is the arc of his journey, when the hero has to overcome the hardest obstacle he has ever had to face. When all hope seems bleak, he continues on and makes it through the clouds and into the light.
I pray for Chris and his family nightly that he can keep going and get better day after day. Even if it is a small amount better, it is still progress.
So please, if you can, let us all come together and help send some money to him and his family so that we can help them to the extent that we can financially. But also let him know that people are praying for him and his family, people are pulling for him, and that this will not be the end of his book.
