Here Comes The Bride

For Halloween-2018, I shot and directed a short thriller titled, The Bride'.  The film told the story of a young couple named Simon and Amber who quickly got married after meeting on a dating website. Shortly into the marriage, we learn Amber isn't the woman we thought she was after Simon is murdered in cold blood and she takes wedding portraits with his dead corps to remember the moment. 

After receiving great responses to the film, including a feature on Refinary29/Unbothered's Instagram page, I decided I wanted to follow-up on 'The Bride' with, 'Here Comes The Bride'. 

Here Comes The Bride

'Here Comes The Bride' will follow another relationship this mysterious woman has entered and dive deeper into the dynamic between her and her new husband. 

Due to budget constraints with 'The Bride', I wasn't able to have dialogue in the film and I used the song 'Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You' to narrate the story. This created a barrier that wouldn't allow me to push the film as much as I wanted to because of licensing issues with the song.

This GoFundMe has been created to help me put together a proper version of 'The Bride' that I can submit to festivals, promote, and maximize its visibility. The money earned will be used to rent camera equipment, hire a crew, and rent out the locations that will be needed to tell this story. 

This has been a project that I've been working on for two years now, and I'm really excited to begin filming this fall. I will be including the names of everyone who donates during the ending credits of the film.
