Recently, Herb has faced a serious health scare that landed him in the hospital for 11 days. Doctors discovered a large blood clot that caused damage to his liver and intestines, requiring immediate treatment and careful monitoring.

While he’s now home and on the road to recovery, Herb’s journey isn’t over. Due to the clot’s size and location, surgery to remove it would be extremely risky — so doctors have decided the safest option is to let it dissolve naturally over time. That process will take several months, during which Herb will need ongoing care and rest.

Thankfully, Herb is expected to make a full recovery, but this unexpected medical event has placed a real financial strain on him.
