No words can describe or identify Heriberto Torres or as his family and close friends would call him "Herbie." Herbie was a father, a brother, a son, and a friend. Herbie was altruistic and an impartial man of an adventurous soul. He loved a challenge. He was a man you could count on. If you needed Herbie, he never hesitated; he would always be there and never would let you down.
Herbie was a fighter throughout his life; he fought to his last moment and last breath. He was battling with his health for many years as he suffered from diabetes, blindness, a heart condition and kidney failure. Herbie was in pain, while going through multiple and painful analysis and treatments, he never complained, he was always strong.
A few weeks ago Herbie went under a heart surgery "Aortic Valve Replacement" to correct his heart condition. The surgery was a success or so he and his family thought.
On November 9, 2018 at approximately 3:20 pm, Herbie lost his fight. He passed away. The value replacement was not a success, his loving and caring heart gave its last beats and his pain and suffering were not present anymore. Our hearts wanted to beat for his heart, but his battle was over. His kids, family and friends, are in disbelieve; our hearts are now in pain. We lost Herbie, along with his amazing presence and most importantly we lost a great man. Our family is in shock; a few days ago we were celebrating a successful surgery outcome, and today we are confused, anguished and in disbelief. This was unexpected and something we were not prepared for emotionally or financially. For this the Torres' family is reaching out for your kindness and generosity in helping us cover Herbie's funeral expenses. Your contribution will help our family ease the financial responsibility we face at this moment of loss.
Thanking you for your time and looking forward for your help.
