I’m reaching out to you because Herb Cervantes and his family is close to my heart. He’s a brother I’ve never had. For those of you that don’t know Herb, well, he has the gentlest soul and is the most soft spoken and kindest person you will EVER meet. He is one to never raise his voice in any situation whatsoever. Herb is an Angel. I believe in angels by the way and I do believe in miracles. Herb is married to Emma Lim and has two kids, Brandon and Jordan. He loves to talk about the time he spends with Brandon building things and his involvement with the Sea Cadets. He’s so proud of his daughter Jordan who’s in college at UCDavis. And lastly, Emma. He wishes to be the best husband he could be to Emma. He loves his family. That’s all he ever talks about. They are his primary aim in life. He's a great friend to many people and that’s why I’m reaching out to you so we can aid and assist his family as a community. As you know, this fund is because Herb has cancer. I’m not sure what my limits are when talking about a persons health, However, this is a text message from Herb as of 08 Oct 2019: Excerpts of full body scan results: “...there are lesions seen throughout the spine, in the bilateral humeri, in the bilateral scapulae, in the sternum and manubrium, in the ribs, in the bony pelvis, and in the bilateral femurs.... ...There are numerous hypermetabolic sclerotic lesions seen throughout the axial and proximal appendicular skeleton compatible with widespread osseous metastatic disease.” Gentlepeople, please do what you can and donate to this fund, reach out directly to Herb and/or the Lim family with any type of assistance such as food or meal prep and prayers are never enough.
