Nyob Zoo! ("Hello" in the Hmong language)

Our names are Her Vang, Va Seng, and Yeng Cha and we are Hmong, an ethnic group from Southeast Asia. We believe that although there are countless individuals travelling the world by bicycles, there isn't anyone from the Hmong. Because of this, we want to be the FIRST HMONG PEOPLE to EVER TRAVEL THE WORLD by BICYCLES. We hope that by cycling through different countries we will be able to share who we are and our culture with the world while learning more about them. Therefore, we are planning a 5-year trip across the world by bicycle and we need your help.

A rough map of our route

The above picture is a rough map of the route we are planning to take. We plan to start on December 1st, 2023. The three of us will depart from northern Vietnam heading towards Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia, and other Southeast Asian countries. We will then take the ship over to Australia to ride there for a couple months. After Australia, we plan to fly over to South America to cycle through the Americas towards the US. Once we have cycled across the US, we will continue our trip in Europe and Africa. We will then cycle through Asia making our way back to Laos. We know that this is a big mission and honestly, we are not too sure how far we can actually go but like Va Seng said "We only live once, so we want to take the name 'Hmong' to the world by bicycles."
