Hello, my name is Leeanna Ramos, and I’m reaching out with a humble heart on behalf of my beautiful mom, Connie Moreno. Thank you for taking a moment to read her story.
Last year, our world changed in an instant when my mom was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. Imagine receiving news that turns every ordinary day into a fight for your life. Trying to face it with nothing but your own strength, prayers, and the kindness of loved ones.
Since that heartbreaking day, my mom has been fighting with every ounce of her being. Through sleepless nights, painful treatments, and countless trips to Houston, she’s held on with fierce courage, unwavering faith, and a spirit that refuses to give up, even when the road seemed really hard.
So far, we’ve done our best to manage on our own, relying on the generosity of a few close friends and family members. But now, we’ve reached the final stretch. The surgery we’ve prayed and fought for is finally here. As we prepare for this critical moment and the treatments that will follow, the costs of traveling back and forth from Brownsville to Houston, along with medical bills, medications, and other expenses, have become more overwhelming than ever.
Here we are… with humbled hearts finally asking for help. Something that’s never easy to do. For so long, we tried to carry the weight alone. But now, as my mom faces one of the most critical points in her fight, the surgery that could change everything, we simply can’t do it alone. We believe in the power of community, in the kindness of strangers, and in the strength that comes when hearts come together.
Every donation, no matter the size, will directly support my mom’s care, her travel needs, and her recovery. If you’re unable to give financially, a simple share with your friends and family would mean more than you know. And most importantly, we ask for your prayers for strength, full healing, a successful surgery, and for the day we get to ring the bell and celebrate her victory over cancer!
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for standing with us. Your support means the world.
May God bless you always.
-Leeanna
