Mirabel Ufuoma Eruotor was a vibrant 7-year-old girl. She faced unimaginable challenges in recent days. During a typical playtime with her siblings, she tripped and fell, but this time, something was amiss. She remained still, dazed, and took longer than expected to recover. Concerned, her mother rushed her to the hospital for a check-up, and a new chapter in their lives began.

Mirabel was diagnosed with Diffuse Brain Stem Glioma, a serious condition that requires immediate attention. Doctors recommended radiotherapy, but the cost in Nigeria is prohibitively expensive for the family. Plans were seriously on to reach out for assistance.

Unfortunately, on the 9th of August 2025, the unimaginable happened, Mirabel's Daddy, Mr Brume Eruotor died from Scleroderma. The mother was dumbfounded, but in her grief, she still struggled to keep Mirabel alive; however, on the 14th of August, which is four days apart, Mirabel also died. This tragedy is too much to bear for a mother whose family of five has been reduced to a family of three in a couple of days.

This has left the family in a very tragic and precarious situation. Mrs Ajoke Eruotor and the entire family are in a difficult situation and condition; they have been financially and emotionally drained. Mirabel has been laid to rest, and Brume's burial has been fixed for the 30th of August, 2025.
