I’ve just been diagnosed with breast cancer and was so surprised when it came back malignant. A second tumor was found and I will be having a second biopsy this week. If that one is malignant as well, I expect to be having a mastectomy immediately. I’ve had the privilege of walking the path of losing everything in these horrible fires. It has been my honor to reunite their pets when all was lost. I’ve been so lucky to have met and worked with a beautiful group of volunteers who have their time and money to spend up to a year, post fire, continuing to rescue these cats. I am strong and have no doubt I will beat this thing. I am so incredibly grateful for your support during this very scary time!
