In February of 2019, my friend Carol Johnson age 46, was diagnosed with a brain tumor ( called oligodendroglioma).  She underwent brain surgery in June. Shortly after she began to heal and was back to work. However, three months later she learned that there was another tumor in her brain and this time her doctor recommended Chemotherapy and radiation - and possibly a second surgery. The doctor explained that her life is at risk if nothing is done. My friend is a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She continues to work two jobs to make ends meet.
