Hi everyone,

Our niece Ashlynd is a beautiful, fun-loving, and vibrant 22-year-old young woman with her whole life ahead of her. She is currently attending Arizona State University, working toward her bachelor’s degree in Speech Pathology, with dreams of one day helping young children find their voices and reach their full potential. Ashlynd has so many dreams to chase, a future she has been working hard toward, and so much love and life to share with the world.

Sadly, Ashlynd is now facing an unimaginable battle after being diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, a highly rare soft tissue sarcoma. This devastating diagnosis has turned the world upside down for Ashlynd and everyone who loves her.

Right now, Ashlynd and the Guinn family are facing a journey no family is ever prepared for. Their focus is on fighting this disease, navigating treatment, and holding on to hope through the many challenges ahead.

Along with the emotional toll, the financial burden is growing quickly. Between medical expenses, travel for appointments and treatment in Texas, New York, and at Stanford, as well as time away from work, the costs are adding up. We want to help ease some of that burden so Ashlynd can focus on her treatment, healing, and spending precious time with the people she loves.

We are starting this fundraiser to surround Ashlynd and her family with the love and support they need during this incredibly difficult time. Every donation, no matter the amount, will make a difference and help relieve some of the financial stress they are facing.

We will also be organizing a meal train to help support the family during this time. With so much travel and focus on Ashlynd’s treatment, meal support and grocery gift cards would be greatly appreciated.

Our hope is that the Guinn family can focus their energy where it matters most: being together, supporting Ashlynd, and facing each day one step at a time.
