Her Fight is our Fight-Team Lo!

Lori or as I call her "Aunt Lo", is the total embodiment of love, generosity, kindness, tenderness, graciousness, and she has always been beyond hard working and dedicated. Aunt Lo is the type of person people pray to have in their corner because her presence brings calm and her positivity is inspiring. She is exactly the type of person who so many of us, myself included, have questioned, "why God, why her? She doesn't deserve this! This isn't fair!". Those are the questions that have swirled in my head and out my mouth thousands of times since 12/31/2021.
12/31/2021 was the first time my Aunt Lo casually mentioned some of her symptoms to me via text which quickly prompted me to call her. After that call and many visits to the ER, imaging departments, and specialty doctors later, we had answers. Aunt Lo, kept praying for answers because she just wanted to know what was wrong so that it could be treated and she could get back to feeling like herself again.
01/21/2022-Aunt Lo had her first brain biopsy. The biopsy results confirmed the suspected diagnosis of Grade 4 Glioblastoma...Brain Cancer. On 01/26/2022 Aunt Lo underwent a Craniotomy to remove as many/much of the tumors as safely possible. The surgery was quite a success; they were able to remove approximately 80% of the presenting tumors. Even with the successful surgery, It's hard to share this diagnosis, as it all still feels very new, shocking, unreal, and Aunt Lo herself is still processing the news.
Since 12/31/2021 Aunt lo has not been working due to her symptoms, surgeries, and going forward; she will have an intensive radiation and chemo schedule. When talking with my Aunt, she expresses how much she misses being able to work. She loves her team at Ticor Title and all the people she gets to interact with on a day-to-day basis. It's her goal and dream to be able to fight off this cancer and resume her active social and work life.

Aunt Lo is a Christian and would genuinely appreciate prayers for miraculous healing to be spoken over her. We are all praying that she can be healed through power of prayers and the healing hands of the medical providers.

Along with prayer, we are requesting financial donations to help aid in her recovery and decrease her stress over maintaining her essentials during this time when she is unable to work. Being on the receiving end of help is new to her and so is sharing so much of her personal life, if you have more questions about how you can help please do not hesitate to reach out to me.

Thank you all for your support.

Kindly,
Carol
