Family and Friends,
My mom's story ❤
A couple years ago, my mom became really ill with lyme disease. It took a long time to reach a diagnosis and figure out a treatment plan. Finally, after 2 years or so, my mom had energy and could walk without pain in her legs. She finally felt like she had life under control.
Sadly, just a few months after my mom finished treatment for lyme disease, my family received devastating news that my mom now has an aggressive form of stage 2 breast cancer.
She went through two weeks of intense testing and hospital visits to countless doctors and specialists. Now, she goes for chemotherapy treatment every 3 weeks. Hopefully, after 5 months of chemo, () my mom will get surgery and be able to go back to a "normal" life without being so sick every day. She can't seem to catch a break from specialists and hospital visits.
Life as we all know it, is never really easy. To have cancer must be a scary feeling for my mom, although she doesn't show it. She is strong but could definitely use a little break.
I have decided to start a GoFundMe on my mother’s behalf to help ease the stress that comes along with simultaneously battling both breast cancer and life’s everyday struggles, especially during this pandemic.
We want to thank everyone for reaching out and offering to donate/help at this time. We really appreciate it beyond words.
As we all know, my mom would be the first one offering help to any one of us.
THANK YOU! ❤❤❤
