- Hi, my name is Leslie and I am fundraising for my dear friend Ashley Friday Lail. Ashley is a 36 year old wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend who is in the fight of her life against Stage 4 Colorectal Cancer. By the time she was diagnosed the cancer had metastasized and is now on her liver and lungs. She was recently accepted into a clinical trial in Greensboro, NC, and her doctors are hoping the medications from the trial will help with her extreme pain due to her liver being enlarged. She worries about the stress this is putting on her family, financially and mentally, as she recently resigned from her job to focus on her health and the fight that lies ahead. Even as some of her days have recently become excruciating she still continues to encourage others and support the ones she loves. The road ahead will be trying but her faith in God is strong. The love of her adoring family and devoted friends will carry her along this journey as we stand unwaveringly with her in this fight.
