Dear Friends and Family,
    
     In Feburary 2017, my sister, Shelly, was diagnosed with stage 4 kidney disease. She has been on the kidney donor list for more than four years. On May 19th, she retired from a career of teaching. After dedicating her life to teaching, she was hoping to be able to relax, spend more time with family and enjoy life but she was given the unfortunate news that she is now in stage 5 kidney failure. Her kidney function has dropped so low she will now need to start dialysis. 
 
     This is a space for those who would like to support Shelly while she continues to seek a living donor. All funds raised will go directly to Shelly to help with medical expenses not covered by health insurance.
