My name is Shelley Hall Phillips and I am asking you read this post on behalf of my husband Kenneth Phillips. He has been battling aggressive pancreatic cancer since he was diagnosed this past February. Our world has been completely turned upside down.

Since starting this fundraiser for my husband’s care, we have suffered another devastating loss—my mother, Polly Hall passed away on December 4th, 2025. I am now trying to manage both end-of-life care for my husband and funeral arrangements for my mother. Any support toward these overwhelming expenses is deeply appreciated.

Kenneth is so much more than his diagnosis. He is a loving, devoted husband, a dedicated father, and a proud grandfather. If you know him, you know beneath the rough exterior, his warmth, sense of humor, and his willingness to lend a hand whenever someone needed it. Now, he is facing the biggest challenge of his life, and we need your help.

Cancer treatment is not only physically and emotionally exhausting — it is also financially overwhelming. Even with insurance, the medical bills, medications, travel to appointments, and day-to-day living costs are more than we can manage alone.

I have done my best since losing our main source of income 10 months ago, even having to work and leaving him alone most of the time to try and reassure him that everything will work out as God has planned it. We have sold what we could to cover expenses, but now the time has come for me to ask for help - which does not come easily for me.

It has spread to his liver and lungs. We were given 2-6 weeks on October 20th so I have taken my remaining FMLA (which is unpaid leave) to be by his side until the Lord takes him home. I want nothing more than to make sure Kenneth's last days with us can focus on spending meaningful time with his loved ones without the constant stress of financial strain.
