Jacob Jackson was hit head on by a drunk driver on October 1st of 2018. The doctors gave us no hope. They said his injuries were too great. His heart stopped twice, he received over 125 units of blood over the course of his stay, and he suffered an anoxic brain injury. Over our journey God has blessed us with people, prayers, and healing. Jacob’s healing started at Spartanburg regional in the trauma center we stayed for 50 days, traveled to VIBRA in Mount Pleasant, MUSC in Charleston, TIRR in Houston, Piedmont hospital in Atlanta GA, and now we are at the Augusta Burn Center in GA.
We will soon be going home and in need of therapy Jacobs therapy will be mostly out of pocket. We are looking to raise enough money to purchase a Quadriciser. Which is $21,000. This would be a all in once piece of exercise equipment.
We will also have to pay for occupational therapist, physical therapists, and speech therapist.
Jacob is a God fearing loving man. His world is his family and he would do anything for anybody. This is a confusing journey but it’s all in God’s hands. He is going to come out of this completely healed with a wonderful testimony that will give God glory and praise. If you find it in your heart please give to help his healing.
