Hi everyone,
Our names are Ambar and Perla Garcia. We were born and raised in Springfield, Massachusetts and we currently attend Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts.
We are SO excited to announce that we were both accepted into NASA's summer 2017 internship programs. We will be working at NASA Ames Research Center in Moffetfield, California for two months on designing/testing various mechatronic devices
(Ambar's project) and live testing wearable technology (Perla's project.)
We've worked very hard to reach these goals and we could use your help making this possible. Here are expenses that we need to cover:
-flights
-housing
-food
-survival items
We estimate that these out of pocket expenses will add up to at least $2000/per person.
We would greatly appreciate any donations so we can focus 100% on our projects and get the most of our experiences.
