Firstly, let me give you a quick run-down about Homes4Hens. We exist simply to give an overlooked and poorly treated animal a chance to live, flourish and enjoy life. A bird which is arguably the most abused animal in the world.

We value every small feathered life. Behind the eyes of a chicken is a sentient, intelligent and characterful creature that wants to live and be free from cages.

Those of you that have offered homes to our hens in the past; I know that your chickens will have enriched your lives as much as you have enriched theirs. That is the magic of Homes4Hens, everybody benefits.

This year we have saved over 1300 hens (so far) and found them loving homes. We have also taken in 114 of the most poorly hens to live out the rest of their days in comfort at the Homes4Hens Sanctuary.

We are in desperate need of some extra funds to pay for a handful of expenses currently required. These are-
