Hi. My name is Debbie and I volunteer for Henry’s haven cat rescue. I am trying to raise funds to help with the vets bills. Due to many hospitalisation's which has increased our vet bills to a crazy amount. Henry’s have had so many end up in hospital. Losing two kittens recently who became ill and were hospitalised. We fought to save them but sadly both had to be put to sleep. they were the 3rd and fourth needing hospitalisation.
Henrys have also a cat in with a dislocated hip which needs surgery. Then samara one of our long term fosters had an asthma attack and had to be rushed in to go on oxygen and steroids. It’s just been never ending. One cat in hospital can cost on average £1200 defending on their stay so to have had so many in. The bills are through the roof. We have managed to pay the other vet bills. The general neutering and vacs and we have two bills clear but two who are the vets who we take the poorly cat to. Both bills have risen to an amount that currently we cannot pay although we have paid amounts off. Every cat who has been hospitalised then adds to the bill again, it has been a really tough time. If anyone can donate even a £1. Every penny counts. We feel for every rescue right now as most are in the same boat. Your support and any donations made will be really appreciated by all the team at Henry’s haven. We strive to help the most needy. Cats and kittens living outside. Colonies of which we are still working on trapping at three different colonies although two are under control the third is a big colony with many cats and kittens. The kitten in the photo is one we recently trapped at the biggest colony.
We know everyone cannot donate but to share this go fund me. We would be very grateful. We will be posting on our Facebook page the balances of the two largest bills. £5000 doesn’t cover them but it would be amazing to pay off any amount right now. We know it’s a huge sum of money to try and raise. We just want to continue on to save and rescue who we can and there are many needing help but the vet bill now is hindering what we can do.
Thank you for reading xx
