Life's full of unexpected turns. Nobody on this earth knows what tomorrow may bring, which is the case in hand.
On Sunday, September 25th I received a text message from my nephew stating that his dad, Henry Acosta Sr. had been in a motorcycle accident.
We arrived at the hospital thinking it was nothing serious, until we were directed to the OR waiting room.
We waited optimistically for an update from the operating room. Eventually, the doctor emerged and broke the news. Henry had passed away on the operating table.
No one expected to hear that.
No one there thought that was even a possibility.
Unfortunately for family and friends it was so, he was gone.
Henry was an awesome son, brother, nephew, dad, uncle, cousin, family member, co-worker, and friend. Henry was an all-around awesome guy.
To of know him, was to have loved him.
With this said, and as everyone who has ever lost a loved one knows arrangements are not free, nor cheap.
I'm starting this page with Kelly's blessing, so that together we can all help cover the cost of funeral arrangements.
During such a difficult time in his children’s lives, money shouldn't be theirs, or anyone’s biggest worry.
