Our Father Henry Sardina Jr, a Vietnam Veteran and Purple Heart recipient drew his last breath in my mother's arms at 3:10 Am on August 12th surrounded by his family and grandchildren, passing from cancer that had taken its toll over the last few months. The last few months have been a financial burden to say the least. We had paid for his cremation a month ago. Then my mother was approached by a member of a VFW and was told that the funeral was going to be paid for by a Christian organization in conjunction with the VFW. So we had transferred his cremation into our Mothers name. A member even went to the funeral home with my mother to go over it. Well when the time came we were told unfortunately there was a miscommunication and it won't be paid for. We couldn't transfer the service back for him so we were stuck at a bad time to scrambler and set it all up again as well as pay additional fees for the incident. With today's significant costs and unforseen miscommunications for memorial. The family is asking for any financial assistance that will help offset the financial burden that has incurred. Any assistance will greatly be appreciated. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
